    Canadian Hydro owns and operates eighteen green power facilities totalizing 265MW. Wind-generated electricity accounts for five sites and hydroelectric power twelve sites. An additional 403MW is to enter production.

Finavera Ltd Finareva renewables Ltd

    Headquartered in Canada it developped (among others) two wind farms in Ireland. Finareva also developed the AquaBuoy wave energy converter technology.


    WindShare is a co-operative wind farm developer. It develops locally owned wind power projects that are scaled to the size and characteristics of the host community.



    EnXco is a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles. It develops wind energy projects in the USA.

Invenergy Wind LLC

    Invenergy's development activities include building, owning, acquiring and operating large scale wind energy and thermal electric generating facilities. Invenergy’s development of wind energy facilities is carried out through its wholly owned affiliate, Invenergy Wind LLC. Invenergy’s thermal development is carried out through its wholly owned affiliate, Invenergy Thermal LLC. Invenergy is headquartered in Chicago and has regional development offices in Denver, Washington D.C., and Toronto. The company has European development offices in London, England and Warsaw, Poland.

Shell International Renewables

    In 1997 Shell created Shell International Renewables, a subsidiary dedicated to the green energies and head company of dedicated structures. Shell WindEnergyand Shell Solar are respectively dedictaed to the development od wind and solar energy projects. Shell invested in projects for more than 650MW in Spain and USA and is also expanding over the french market (status beginning of 2008).
